Dr. Gerald S. Fine is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has been in practice
more then 20 years. He is a member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons as well as a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts
Dental Society, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and a member of the Boston College
Sports Medicine staff. He is also a past president of the Brookline Dental Study Club.

Dr. Fine has a strong continuous interest in education, providing clinical and educational
articles to his colleagues and has appeared on many occasions as both a guest as well
as co-host of Oral Health Update, a television program devoted to providing current
dental information to the Greater Boston community. As part of his interest in ongoing
education, Dr. Fine also researches, prepares and delivers presentations in oral and maxillofacial
surgery at national dental conferences. He has a special interest in both
sports dentistry and oral pathology and is active in many other educational and professional
organizations.

- On staff at the Newton/Wellesley hospital.
- An oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Massachusetts Hospital School, a facility which specializes in the care and treatment of children and young adults with severe birth defects. In addition, he has volunteered his time to provide free treatment to children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear reactor crisis.
- A co-host of a bi-weekly dental educational cable television show.

- 1969 - Graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy.
- 1973 - D.D.S., Howard University School of Dentistry.
- 1973-1974 - Internship, Philadelphia General Hospital.
- 1974-1975 - Residency in Anesthesia, Medical College of Pennsylvania.
- 1975-1978 - Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Tufts-New England Medical Center.
